SEMI ANNUAL USED BOOK SALE, ART EXHIBIT, AND PLANT SALE/EXCHANGE

Thursday, May 24th from 4 PM until 8 PM

Attendees on Thursday will be asked to sign up for our Friends Society,

Friday May 25 from 9 AM until 2 PM

And

Saturday May 26 from 9 AM until 2 PM

 

THIS IS ONE OF OUR BIGGEST BOOK SALES YET!

 

Please join us to pick up your reading supply for the summer AND enjoy the artwork produced by some of our patrons.

On Friday and Saturday, we will be selling hot dogs, chips,drinks, AND HOMEMADE PIE SLICES .

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT THE LIBRARY.

Students can read to a canine reading companion at the Library on Saturdays at 11 AM, following Storytime, beginning Saturday, January 7th!

Reading companions are available on a first come basis, so sign up before 11 AM!

We will have three canine reading buddies on Saturday, January 7th to kick off our new program!

Do you have a hard-to-buy for person on your holiday list? 

Here are a few suggestions to make your holiday shopping easier

and your season a little brighter:

 

  • Make a donation in honor of a special person.  You will receive a lovely hand-crafted bookmark to present to the honoree.

  • Shop our LOCAL AUTHOR table and select a unique book written by a local author to present as a one-of-a kind gift.

  • Bring your loved one in and introduce him or her to the Library and all of the great services the Library has to offer.  Encourage him or her to get a library card.

  • Surprise and delight your children by bringing them to Story Time at the Library.  Holiday stories and activities will be shared throughout the month of December.  Story Times are Wednesdays at 6 PM and Saturdays at 10 AM, other days/times may be available upon request.

  • During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, have a family movie night with movies borrowed from the Library.  Don’t forget the popcorn!
