When Farmer Brown goes on vacation, leaving his brother Bob in charge, Duck makes trouble by changing all his instructions to notes the animals like much better.

All of the barnyard animals are excited about the arrival of a new duckling, until the noisy little one refuses to go to sleep.

Between the pond and the farm house some of Mother Duck's new babies get lost.

While other birds are seeing the world, George the duck is content to stay at home--or so it seems until he confesses the truth to Pascal, a visiting bear.

Farmer Brown puts the other animals to bed but gives up on Duck, who sets out to find just the right spot--and snack--to help him sleep.

Splat the cat's bicycle bumps and jumps over the bumpy track on his way to school, until . . . crack! Splat takes a tumble off of his bike and finds himself nose to beak with a duck. When the duck does not make a sound, Splat packs the duck in his backpack along with his school supplies to his teacher, Mrs. Wimpydimple, who will know what to do, and heads off to Cat School.

When Duck gets tired of working for Farmer Brown, his political ambition eventually leads to his being elected President.

Pleased with his success in riding a bike, Duck decides to drive the farm tractor, and invites all the other farm animals along for the ride--all the way to town.

Maxwell Duck is trying to invent a soup that everyone will remember him for, but when he goes out to look for the missing ingredient and his friends show up, they think he has fallen into the soup.
