The Cochranton Area Public Library (CAPL) has been serving the community for many years. Here is a brief overview of some of our services:

Books and more
The library offers a wide range of reading material. You will find a variety of fiction, nonfiction and magazines for all ages and interests of readers. Books are also available in large print, CD, and Playaway/Wonderbook formats.

Books, audio books and magazines are available for loan for 14 days. These items are set to automatically renew up to two times (6 weeks total) on your due date unless the item is on hold for another patron.

Hotspots for mobile internet are available for loan for 14 days and do not automatically renew.

DVDs are available for loan for 3 days and also do not automatically renew.

Looking for an item we don't own? Interlibrary loan is available at no charge. We search throughout libraries in Pennsylvania and your request is normally fulfilled in 7 to 10 days if the item is available.

eBooks, audiobooks and digital magazines
eBooks, audiobooks and digital magazines are available for download to your eReader, phone or tablet through the Libby app. You can access these services online by visiting ccfls.overdrive.com. Links to our other online resources such as Hoopla and POWERLibrary are available under the Resources page of our website.

Computer/Wi-Fi usage
The library has 5 computers available for public use. Wi-Fi is available for use with your personal devices. A work area with outlets and a charging station is located near our public computers.

Copies/Fax/Printing
There is a printer available to allow you to print from the library's computers. (At this time, wireless printing from patron devices is not supported by our printer.)

We are also able to make copies for you -- Whether printing or copying, black and white copies are 25 cents/page, while color copies are 50 cents/page.

Fax service (sending only) is available for 50 cents/page.
